1. Overview

LUMEN is an analog exposure calculator and film log for photographers. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data. LUMEN has no internet connection, no analytics, no advertising, and no user accounts.

2. Data Collection

LUMEN does not collect, transmit, store remotely, or share any personal data whatsoever.

3. Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions. All are used exclusively on-device:

Camera (CAMERA)

Used solely to photograph a scene for light metering. Photos are processed locally to read exposure information (EXIF data). No photos are uploaded or stored beyond a temporary thumbnail in your device's internal storage.

Storage Read (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)

Used solely to select an existing photo from your gallery for light metering. No files are read, copied, or transmitted without your explicit action.

Storage Write (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)

Used solely to save exported film log files (.txt and .html) to your device when you choose to export. No data is written without your explicit action.

4. Data Stored on Your Device

All film roll logs, frame records, and settings are stored exclusively in your device's local storage (Android SharedPreferences and internal app directory). This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share or export it.

Thumbnails created during light metering are stored in the app's internal directory and deleted when the corresponding frame is deleted.

5. Third-Party Services

LUMEN uses no third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, crash reporters, or advertising networks.

6. Children's Privacy

LUMEN does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

7. Your Rights

Since LUMEN does not collect or store any personal data on external servers, there is no data held by us to access, correct, or delete. You may contact us at any time at all4apps@protonmail.com.
